
Dr. Al David Toler, DDS- Dr. Toler is the visionary leader and founder of MADE. Dr. Toler is a graduate of Hampton University, and Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr, Toler’s experience in dentistry includes completion of General Practice Residency programs at, both, Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. Additionally Dr, Toler has also completed Oral Maxillofacial Fellowships at King Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He has also served in the dental profession for, both, physical and mobile dental offices. Dedication to the dentistry profession has led Dr. Toler to create the concept, form the team, and execute the plan of the MADE mobile model of dentistry. Along with his expertise in dentistry, Dr. Toler has a vast amount of experience in leadership, business organization, business, collaboration expertise, and he is dedicated to engaging in community outreach through his church. Likewise, as a graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York, New York, and from his experience as a funeral industry professional, Dr. Toler is skilled in cultural competency, and interacting with people.

Jaye Espy is a leader in strategic partnerships, with over 20 years of experience in education, EdTech, and workforce development, specializing in building high-impact collaborations across corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. Likewise, she has successfully designed and operationalized initiatives that drive student success, economic mobility, and sustainable pipelines, including partnerships with Google, Northrup Grumman, and the U. S. Office of Personnel Management. With a data-driven and relationship-focused approach, Jaye excels at aligning stakeholders to create scalable and measurable outcomes in education and workforce innovation. Additionally, Ms. Espy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi. Jaye is also passionate about using her skills and professionalism to empower young people to achieve their goals through education, mentorship, and opportunity. Thus, she believes in the power of community to uplift and support the next generation, by ensuring their access to resources and connections they need to succeed. Overall, Ms. Espy’s work is driven by her commitment to creating pathways that help students turn their ambitions into real sustainable careers.

Dr. Rankin is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and he holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He has particular expertise in the fields of cartilage preservation and restoration, meniscus transplantation, complex knee and shoulder soft tissue reconstruction procedures, and minimally invasive knee replacement surgery. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine. He places a premium on patient education and their participation in formulating a treatment plan.

Dr. Marcus S. Tappan has been improving smiles for over 40 years, with the quality cosmetic and general dentistry. With a caring touch for his patients, and through his commitment to continuing education, he is able to offer outstanding care using the latest dental techniques, equipment and procedures, such as cosmetic dentistry, implant surgery and restoration, periodontology, oral surgery, dental conscious sedation, and other current and advanced dental techniques. Dr. Tappan is truly a leader in providing contemporary dentistry, and he brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the MADE organization.

Anthony Daniels brings leadership and a plethora of skills and experience to the MADE board of directors. Daniels is a certified, PMI Institute Project Management Professional (PMP), with over ten years of experience in government consulting, and has managed numerous projects, which include projects involving acquisition, data science, financial analysis, budgeting, process engineering, cost estimating, project scheduling, return on investment analysis, 508 compliance, and records management. Daniels has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Seton Hall University, and a Certificate in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from Columbia University. Daniels is an avid supporter of the Kingdom Cares Outreach Ministry at Kingdom Fellowship, whose mission is to feed and clothe those in need.

Mr. Rose is a graduate of Hampton University, and resides in Silver Springs, Maryland. Mr. Rose has extensive experience in financial consulting for small businesses, with expertise in accounting and bookkeeping services, and enterprises risk management services to include conducting business risk assessments, process analysis, remediation plans and consultations; internal audit consulting and outsourcing; and contracting and procurement consulting services. Mr. Rose brings value to the MADE team with his knowledge of performing organizational and business process developments, enterprise and business process risk analyses, designing and implementing internal control policies and procedures, along with the development of compliance and monitoring plans, as well as developing and administering technical training.
